As we see the rise of violent incidents occurring in our schools, ETFO has developed a workshop and series of materials for teachers to support us in a collective effort to reduce violence in our classrooms.

Join us on Tuesday, January 27 over Zoom as ETT Health and Safety Inspector Ivica Cosic and Toronto OT First Vice-President Laura Barrett present about the nature of violence in our schools and provide strategies about how to approach these challenging situations.

Please note: We are presenting this workshop multiple times throughout the year to ensure that there is at least one ETFO member with this information in every TDSB elementary school. If you’ve already attended an Action on Violence workshop, there is no need to attend again, but please feel free to spread the word among your colleagues who haven’t attended!
