Minimum Day Requirement Waived for the 2020/2021 School Year

In light of COVID-19, without precedent the required number of days that must be completed in order to maintain your Occasional Teaching Position as outlined in your Occasional Teaching Collective Agreements have been waived by the Board, for the 2020/2021 school year only.

In order to remain on the Occasional Teaching List for the 2021/2022 school year, you are required to complete the online renewal in the month of June, prior to June 30, 2021.

The Board will also be adjusting the eligibility for benefits using what was done last year, again – without precedent (for this year only).  Members wishing to enroll in the OTIP OCM plan for next year must have taught 53 full time equivalent days in this school year.
